Wanda M. Herdrich, 86, of Donnellson, died on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at the Ft. Madison Community Hospital, in Ft. Madison.

Wanda M. Herdrich, 86, of Donnellson, died on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at the Ft. Madison Community Hospital, in Ft. Madison.
Friends may call after noon on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at the Schmitz Funeral Home, in Donnellson, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m., that evening. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at St. Peter?s United Church of Christ, in Franklin, with Rev. Mike Bennett and Deacon Tony Herdrich officiating.
Burial will be at the St. Peter?s Cemetery, in rural Franklin.
Memorials have been established in her memory to St. Peter?s United Church of Christ or the Donnellson Fire and Rescue. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schmitzfuneralhomes.com. The Schmitz Funeral Home, in Donnellson, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Herdrich was born on Oct. 13, 1929, the daughter of Clarence H. and June Marie (Smith) Ramsey. On June 19, 1948, she married Harold E. Herdrich in Ft. Madison.
She worked at Sheaffer Pen Company and IAAP.
She was a member of St. Peter?s United Church of Christ, in Franklin.
She enjoyed quilting, cross stitching tea towels, talking to people on her iPad, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Herdrich is survived by her husband, Harold, of Donnellson; her children, Pamela Taylor (Jim Henson), of Ft. Madison; Linda (Larry) Bolanos, of Sioux City; Tony (Lana) Herdrich, of Dallas City, Ill.; Carol Herdrich, of Donnellson; Monica (Dale) Stecker, of Knoxville; Tenn.; Tom and Lola Marsh, of Farmington; Jim (Dee) Herdrich, of Ft. Madison; Cindy (Bob) Howard, of Denmark; David (Kris) Herdrich, of Omaha, Neb.; and Todd (Nicole) Herdrich, of Donnellson; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; one brother, Richard Ramsey, of Port Lavacci, Texas; and one sister, Leah Malard, of Bismarck, N.D.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; two sisters; one daughter, Debbie Jo Marsh; and two grandchildren.
