Washington absentee ballots available, poll locations announced
Mayoral special election is right around the corner, set for April 30

WASHINGTON — Absentee ballots for the April 30, 2024 Washington Special City Election are now available in the Washington County Auditor’s Office.
Absentee voting may also be done in person at the Auditor’s Office in the Washington County Courthouse beginning April 12 and continuing during normal business hours until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 29. Auditor’s Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, April 15 and Friday, April 26.
The polling places for the Tuesday, April 30, 2024 special city election are as follows:
- The Washington Community Y, 520 West Fifth Street, Washington for Washington City Wards 1 and 2. (The new Y Building)
- The temporary polling place at Washington County Fairgrounds, 611 South Highway 1, Washington, for Washington City Wards 3 and 4.
