Washington Chamber gets $13,000 foundation grant

WASHINGTON - The Riverboat Foundation awarded the Washington Chamber of Commerce with a $13,000 grant as part of the 2020 Relief Grant program.
The Chamber suffered great financial loss during 2020, with two-thirds of the Chamber's revenue normally coming from events.
'Although, we were successful in keeping all events in 2020, many of them looked significantly different,” said Chamber Director Michelle Redlinger in a newsletter. 'The Chamber ended our 2020 fiscal year with a bottom-line loss of 127% from the prior year.”
