Washington Chamber seeks citizen, business of year nominations

WASHINGTON - Thursday is the last day to submit nominations for citizen and business of the year in Washington.
The Washington Chamber of Commerce is currently taking nominations for the 2020 Washington Chamber of Commerce citizen of the year and business of the year.
The business of the year recognizes a business in or around Washington for accomplishments and contribution to the community. The winner will have displayed qualities of leadership, cooperation and teamwork, was an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and has visibly contributed and promoted to major economic growth and stability in the area.
The citizen of the year recognizes an individual that has gone the extra mile to get involved in programs and activities that benefit Washington.
They will have displayed leadership, initiative, creativity and dedication toward their cause and the overall betterment of our community, been an inspiration and cheerleader for others in their efforts to better the quality of life in Washington and has created a desired outcome which has had or will have a positive impact on Washington and its future.
