Washington Co. Treasurer to close for a day

WASHINGTON — The Washington County Treasurer’s office will be closed Tuesday, Aug. 2 to allow staff to attend a regional training session.
“This is a meeting that the DOT has put together for each of the districts of the state to bring motor vehicle and driver’s license personnel together,” Deputy Treasurer Teresa Long said. “The office will be closed so that all of the personnel can attend to get further trained.”
The office will resume normal business hours, from 8 a.m.-4:15 p.m., the following day.
