The Washington County Engineer’s Office contracted Uretek USA to complete rehabilitation work near several bridges and culverts in the county.
Contractors will work on the approaches at the West Fork Crooked Creek Bridge on Coppock Road south of Washington and the approaches at the English River Bridge on Vine Avenue east of Riverside.
Crews will work near culverts on Wayland Road south of Bethel Mennonite Church in Wayland and Hemlock Avenue south of 230th Street in West Chester.
Contractors will lift pavements and stabilize the fill underneath at these locations to improve the ride for the traveling public.
Work is scheduled to begin at the bridge on Coppock Road Thursday, June 24, before moving to Wayland Road, Vine Avenue and Hemlock Avenue, respectively, over the next one to two weeks, weather permitting.
During this construction, roads will be down to one lane with a temporary traffic light or a self-alternating traffic setup where visibility permits.
