Washington County searching for appointees
WASHINGTON — Washington County Supervisors said they were still looking for options to fill local government board vacancies in the area.
Supervisor Jack Seward Jr. said the county was short on candidates to fill vacancies for Lime Creek Township Trustee, Lime Creek Township Clerk, and the county’s Eminent Domain Commission.
“We need in-town property owners, and we also need people that own ag land,” Seward said of the eminent domain commission at a meeting on Tuesday. “It doesn’t matter if they live in town or not.”
