Washington County Supervisors meetings available through Zoom

Thursday, March 26, 2020 - Washington County Auditor Dan Widmer and Board of Supervisors Chairperson Jack Seward, Jr. wish to make the public aware that plans for public meetings are constantly evolving in order to meet the challenges related to the COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic.

The Washington County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session on March 31, 2020, and in conjunction with that meeting the Board will utilize the website application ZOOM in order to conduct meetings in a way that will enable public access to the proceedings as required by the Iowa State Open Meetings Law.

In addition, the Washington County Board of Supervisors will strive to provide the public with the ability to make comments through the ZOOM website at regular meetings and public hearings conducted in the future.

For video participation a computer or laptop with video and audio capability is required along with access to the internet.
