Washington County to test emergency sirens Thursday

The Washington County Communications Center will conduct a full emergency test of the countywide outdoor warning system on Thursday at 10:45 a.m. At that time, the sirens will run for a full three-minute cycle.
The outdoor warning siren will give no indication that this is only a test and will sound just like an actual warning.
This test is a rescheduling of the test that would have occurred during Severe Weather Awareness Week but was postponed due to weather.
In the event that there is any chance for severe weather on April 29, the full test will be postponed again.
