Washington County Veterans Day programs

Washington: American Legion Post 29 will hold a service at Blair House at 10:15 a.m. The city of Washington will also fly all military service flags in the cemetery on Veterans Day.

Wellman: Mid-Prairie High School will hold an assembly which starts at 10:30 a.m., though guests are asked to arrive at 10:15. The assembly will be followed by a complimentary luncheon. RSVP to Sarah O’Rourke via sorourke@mphawks.org or Karmen Cady via 319-646-6091.

Riverside: VFW Post 6414 will host a 10:15 a.m. service at the Riverside Casino, followed by another at 11 a.m. at Veteran’s Park in Riverside.

Crawfordsville: Members of American Legion Post 593 will lower and fold the flag on Thursday at the cemetery.
