WASHINGTON - With unofficial election results released by the county shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday, Washington County appeared to follow its history of Republican wins up and down the ballot.
Unofficial results said a total of 8,870 ballots were cast, out of 15,539 registered voters, putting the county’s turnout at 57.08%.
