Mar. 21, 2023 9:20 am
WASHINGTON — A total of 61 independent film makers have submitted films to be exhibited at Farm to Film (F2F,) Washington’s first international film festival. Farm to Film (F2F) will be held May 20-21, 2023.
Members of the F2F board each viewed one half of the entries and scored each one. The films will be shown at five venues: The Washington City Hall Council Chambers; Patricia’s Room Dodici Shop: the Washington Public Library; Art Domestique and the State Theater where local film historian Michael Zahs will kick off the festival with a presentation Saturday morning May 20.
“We are really excited about the number of submissions we received for a first-time festival,” Event Board Co-President Sarah Grunewaldt said. “We’ve got a great number of quality films to show and we’re in the process of organizing those into viewing times.”
The mission of F2F is to engage and entertain audiences through film and to inspire thought-proving conversation.
