Washington for Justice providing holiday meals

WASHINGTON - Washington for Justice has partnered with Fareway and Hy-Vee to provide holiday meal kits to families in the community.

There are two meal options for families: a traditional Midwestern turkey or ham meal and a Latino meal.

The group is currently seeking donations and requests for the holiday event.

A $25 dollar donation covers a family holiday meal kit.

Cash or check donations can be delivered to 110 W Main St., No. 4, Washington. Donations may be sent through Venmo or PayPal to @WashingtonForJustice.

To make a request, individuals must provide name, contact info, pickup or delivery time and meal option preference via phone or email to 608-509-3392 or washingtonforjustice@gmail.com.

The deadline for donations and requests is Dec. 18. The meals will be distributed on Dec. 21 by delivery or pick up at Mills Seed Building.
