WASHINGTON - Perfect, fall weather brought success to residents participating in the citywide garage sale on Saturday.
Craig and Kathy Eklund traveled from Fairfield to visit the garage sales. In the afternoon they had already attended two sales and were planning on going to more.
Many of those running garage sales said they were having a successful weekend. All around town, items for sale included board games, furniture, decorations and clothing.
Terry and Linda Waychoff and their daughter Barb Vududer said they had a successful day on Saturday as well as on Friday. Lisa Carr is downsizing and has participated in the citywide garage sale for the last two years. She said the weather was better this year, and she had a good turnout of buyers.
