Washington juvenile charged with assault
WASHINGTON — An unnamed minor will face criminal charges after allegedly attacking a family member in Washington Saturday around 4 p.m.
A police report said the juvenile “assaulted his aunt and left on a bike,” going down East Main Street before he was located at his house, according to the report. He is charged with assault while displaying a dangerous weapon and assault causing bodily injury.
While the call for service log indicated a request for medical attention, the police report said no medical transport was used. Two police officers, along with the Washington County Ambulance, Iowa DNR, and Washington QRS responded to the call.
