Washington law firms merge

The law firms of Schlegel & Salazar, L.L.P. and Lloyd, McConnell, Davis & Lujan, L.L.P. are pleased to announce a merger of their firms, effective Jan. 1.

The new firm will now be known as Washington Law Office, LLP and is located at 211 W. Washington St. in Washington.

The merger combines the skills and expertise of two long standing and well-known Washington law firms. The areas of practice include estate planning, probate, agricultural law, real estate transactions, business law, taxation, immigration and family/juvenile law.

Partners include Craig A. Davis, Robert G. Schlegel, Kathryn J. Salazar and Katie M. Lujan.

Eric J. Schmitt is an associate of the firm, and Joseph L McConnell serves the firm “of counsel,” in an advisory role.

Combined, the attorneys have over 100 years of law practice experience.

In addition, Washington Law Office, LLP employs a highly competent and experienced support staff of six legal assistants.
