The Washington Public Library's pumpkin contest wrapped up on Monday with two winners.
The annual Festival of Pumpkins gives kids and adults the opportunity to decorate a pumpkin. The only requirement is that it has to be inspired by a book.
Although they normally have around 25 contestants, Library Director Bryna Walker said they thought the 12 this year was a great number, considering the COVID-19 pandemic.
An adult and a child winner were announced Monday.
The two will receive a library theme backpack with books.
