Washington library holds Cookies and Cleanup day
WASHINGTON — Kids and parents gathered in the square Saturday morning for Cookies and Cleanup, a library-hosted event to celebrate Earth Day where volunteers picked up trash and enjoyed sweet treats.
“I'm grateful for a beautiful day and a town that takes steps towards a better environment,“ said Grace Voss. ”In my High School my friend and I started an Earth Club and it's incredible to see how many people want to help with the environment."
