Washington pharmacy offers vaccine clinic Friday

Beans Pharmacy, an affiliate of Washington County Hospital and Clinics, will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for the general public.
The clinic will be held in the Administrative Services Building at Washington County Hospital on Friday from 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Through the federal vaccination program, Beans Pharmacy received 200 doses of the first dose of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine.
To schedule a time for a COVID-19 vaccine, individuals can sign up online at Signupgenius.com/go/BeansVacc.
Individuals over 18 are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. To be eligible for the COVID vaccine you:
- Cannot have recently been exposed to COVID and/or currently be in quarantine.
- Cannot have had any type of vaccine in the past two weeks.
- Must be 18 and older.
- Cannot have been treated with monoclonal antibodies within the past 90 days.
A confirmation email will be sent to those scheduled for a vaccine appointment with additional information and directions to vaccine location. Health insurance cards will be requested at the time of appointment.

Washington County Public Health will offer the Moderna vaccine to people age 18 and over at a clinic on April 14.
