Washington city officials and staff attended a luncheon at the public library last week to thank employees for their service.
“The employee appreciation luncheon is a moment I look forward to every year,” Mayor Jaron Rosien said. “It's great to pause and say ‘thank you’ to the city of Washington team!”
Many staff were recognized for their extensive time with the city, including JJ Bell (25 years,) Dick Greiner (25 years,) Jolisa Weidner (30 years,) Deb Wagler (35 years,) and Jay Quigley (40 years.)
Rosien said the city was grateful for all the hard work.
“I am thankful for a great team of individuals that work for the City of Washington,” he said. “We do nice things like the appreciation luncheon because we desire to be a quality employer and to say ‘thank you’ to our great team of quality employees.”
