Washington school bus and car collide Monday morning, minor injuries reported

WASHINGTON - An accident involving a Washington Community School bus and a single car occurred on Highway 92 and F Avenue in Washington at approximately 7:45 Monday morning.
A few minor injuries were reported from the accident involving bus 4-15 and the car. The Washington Police Department and Washington County Ambulance responded to the scene, according to a news release from the school district.
Those injured were addressed and parents, guardians and emergency contacts for all students involved were contacted, according to the release. Any parent who did not receive a call did not have a child on the bus at the time of the accident according to the school district.
