WASHINGTON — School officials recognized outgoing staff at a board meeting Sept. 14.
“We appreciate everything you do for our students and everything you do for our community, also,” Superintendent Willie Stone said. “It is greatly appreciated and we know the dedication is very important to our students.”
School board President Eric Turner said he wished parting staff the best of luck.
“I hope you enjoy your future endeavors, whether that’s retirement or maybe some other avenue,” he said. “We appreciate it … so thank you, one last time.”
The outgoing staff included Cathy Wolf, an HSAP teacher at the district for 9 years; Cheryl Richardson, a bus driver at the district for 10 years; Jill Doughty, a middle school guidance secretary at the district for 16 years; and Roberta Wilson, an ST Title I with 30 years logged at the district.
