Watch the grass clippings
With the recent warm and wet weather will come mowing, and the Mt. Pleasant Police Department reminds citizens to refrain from operating mowing equipment adjacent to a public street.
The reason being is that grass clippings, vegetative material or other litter disbursed or remaining on the street can cause problems with storm sewer discharge (by clogging the storm sewage system).
