Wayland man arrested for assault, simple misdemeanor
On Sept. 26, Henry County Sheriff?s Deputies along with Iowa State Troopers were called to the 1100 grid of Dakota Avenue, outside of Wayland, for an assault that occurred.
Upon investigation, George Barkow Jr., 27, of Wayland, was arrested for assault, simple misdemeanor.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
