The Wayne Soil Savers meeting was held on Feb. 21. The meeting was called to order by the president, Blake Wickham, at 7 p.m.
There were 20 members present with one guest. The roll call subject was ?What is your family pet??
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Katelyn White and the 4-H pledge by McKenna White.
The treasurer?s report was given by Sterling Wickham. Unfinished business was fair book ads. New business included the rabbit workshop at 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 25, the beef workshop on March 31, dog obedience, swine weigh-in on March 17, order turkeys for those showing turkeys on March 1, and the 4-H supper on March 10.
Presentations were given by Sterling Wickham on sheering sheep, Blake Wickham on the origin of 4-H, Hannah Wickham on wrestling scoring and Kyle Moeller on horse hair characteristics.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m. and refreshments were served by Tyler Craig.
