WCHC announces new provider

Washington County Hospital and Clinics (WCHC) proudly announces the addition of Ashley Greiner, ARNP, AGNP, FNP-C, to its medical team. Effective June 6, 2024, Ashley will assume the role of Long-Term Care Provider at WCHC, dedicated to enhancing the well-being of local nursing home residents.
“We are pleased to welcome Ashley to our team of primary care providers,” stated Todd Patterson, Chief Executive Officer at WCHC. “Ashley's focus will be on providing dedicated care to our community's long-term care residents. She will diligently support her patients and their families, offering guidance through complex health matters and coordinating care options in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of providers.”
Ashley brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Ambrose University and her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, from Purdue University Global. With over a decade of experience, including roles as a charge nurse and clinical director at Washington Iowa’s Halcyon House and as a nurse practitioner having focused in Family and Internal Medicine, Ashley is well-equipped to provide exemplary care to Washington County's long-term care residents.
As WCHC's Long-Term Care Provider, Ashley will cater to the needs of residents at United Presbyterian Home and Halcyon House in Washington, Parkview Home in Wayland, and Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction. Her responsibilities will encompass on-site quick sick visits, medication reviews, and the management of ongoing health issues, ensuring residents receive comprehensive and compassionate care.
