WCHC to host Pfizer COVID vaccine clinic

Washington County Hospital and Clinics will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for the general public in the Administrative Services Building at Washington County Hospital from 2-6 p.m. Wednesday, May 26.
To schedule a time for a COVID-19 vaccine, individuals can sign-up online at signupgenius.com/go/WCHCPfizer.
There are 192 appointments available. Additional clinics will be set up as needed, according to hospital Marketing Director Amy Vetter.
Individuals over the age of 12 are eligible to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Those 12-17 will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
To be eligible for the COVID vaccine you:
• Cannot have recently been exposed to COVID and/or currently be in quarantine.
• Cannot have had any type of vaccine in the past two weeks.
• Must be 12 years of age and older.
• Cannot have been treated with monoclonal antibodies within the past 90 days.
A confirmation email will be sent to those scheduled for a vaccine appointment with additional information and directions to vaccine location.
Health insurance cards will be requested at time of appointment.
