WCHC wins AAUW education award

Washington County Hospital and Clinics (WCHC) has been recognized by the American Association of University Women (AAUW) with the group’s 2022 Education Award.

WCHC provides educational opportunities through multiple initiatives. Through partnerships with various colleges, universities and high schools, the hospital works to train the next generation of health care providers and leaders. Additionally, WCHC provides staff and providers, as well patients and their families, with a broad array of education opportunities.

“At WCHC we are committed to our educational mission and to giving back to the next generation of health care professionals,” said WCHC CEO, Todd Patterson. “We do this through partnering with external groups, including high schools and colleges as well as various community groups. We are committed to advancing the fund of knowledge for our current staff to ensure that we can provide the highest quality care available to our patients.”
