WCRF announces municipal grants
RIVERSIDE — The Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) is pleased to announce third quarter 2022 city grant awards, totaling $330,894.84 through its Municipal Grant program.
The program distributes 25% of the foundation’s total revenues directly to the cities in Washington County based on population. The newest wave of cash raises to the total to $13,818,912.20 for municipalities since the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort opened in 2006.
In this round of grants, cities received funds in the following amounts:
- Ainsworth: $9,926.85
- Brighton: $10,919.53
- Crawfordsville: $6,617.89
- Kalona: $62,042.78
- Riverside: $24,155.32
- Washington: $177,855.98
- Wellman: $36,398.44
- West Chester: $2,978.05
