WCRF municipal grants announced for third quarter
WASHINGTON — The Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) is pleased to announce third quarter 2023 grant awards totaling $335,984.35 through its Municipal Grant program.
WCRF Municipal Grant program distributes 25% of its total revenues directly to eight cities in Washington County based on population. WCRF has granted $15,080,340 in Municipal Grants since the opening of the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort in 2006. These funds are programmed by each City Council.
The grants for this quarter are as follows for each city in Washington County:
- Ainsworth: $10,031.89, for a total of $588,007.38 since 2006
- Brighton: $11,036.19, for a total of $693,750.35 since 2006
- Crawfordsville: $6,688.80, for a total of $302,540.67 since 2006
- Kalona: $62,705.59, for a total of $2,640,431.51 since 2006
- Riverside: $24,413.38, for a total of $1,085,441.87 since 2006
- Washington: $179,756.04, for a total of $8,020,554.42 since 2006
- Wellman: $36,787.28, for a total of $1,576,638.94 since 2006
- West Chester: $3,009.87, for a total of $161,066.20 since 2006
The WCRF is the nonprofit license holder for the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort, which provides the entirety of its funding.
