Webster pleads not guilty in shooting death of Frisbie
Tyler James Webster, 33, pleaded not guilty of Murder in the First Degree, a Class A felony, in a written arraignment Monday.

Tyler James Webster, 33, pleaded not guilty of Murder in the First Degree, a Class A felony, in a written arraignment Monday.
The plaintiff, the State of Iowa, has charged the defendant in the Aug. 25 shooting death of Fairfield resident Buddy Lee Frisbie, 32.
Allen L. Cook and Kenneth A. Duker of the Ottumwa Public Defender?s office are representing Webster. He had the right to an arraignment in open court, but chose a written arraignment instead. He demanded a speedy trial under the Iowa Rule of Criminal Procedure.
The Jefferson County Clerk of District Court Tuesday ordered the pretrial for 9:15 a.m. Nov. 6 and the trial for 9:30 a.m. Nov. 27. both at the Jefferson County Courthouse.
Cook filed a motion Sept. 4 to grant emergency care to Webster, which was approved. Webster remains in the Jefferson County Jail on a $2 million bond.
