Thursday, March 12
5:30-7 p.m.: 6th Annual Spaghetti Dinner of Art of Jefferson & Nearby Counties, Fairfield Elks Lodge on Main Street. Free Will donation. All proceeds are used to help local intellectually and/or otherwise developmentally challenged children and adults in Jefferson and surrounding counties.
Friday, March 13
4-7 p.m.: Business After Hours at Morrissey Law Office. Celebration of St. Patrick's Day with appetizers and drinks provided. Open to chamber members, their guests, and general public.
Saturday, March 14
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Indoor Farmers Market, Fairfield Community Center.
2-3 p.m.: Iowa Stoneware, Brick and Tile program at Carnegie Historical Museum. Guest presenter Jeremy McLaughlin, a member of the Forgotten Iowa History Society, has been collecting stoneware since his first auction just after high school. Since then he has collected stoneware, brick, and tile pieces marked from 100 different Iowa potters or pottery companies. Come learn the fascinating story of the clay industry in Iowa, in particular those of southeast Iowa.
4:30-9:30 p.m.: Cedar Creek Chapter Annual Fundraising Banquet at Fairfield Arts & Convention Center. Will include raffles, live and silent auctions, guns, gear, decoys, prints, carvings, ladies' items and kids' games.
5-11 p.m.: St. Patrick's Gala at Fairfield Golf & Country Club.
Sunday, March 15
1:30 p.m.: Stockport Music Jam, Stockport Christian Church. Come listen to bluegrass, old country and gospel music. Everyone is welcome. Free-will offering. For information, contact Wayne R. Keller at 319-796-2130.
