Winfield-Mt. Union reports first district COVID9 case

WINFIELD - The Winfield-Mt. Union Community School District informed district families of a positive COVID-19 case within the district, the first for the schools.
In a letter sent Friday afternoon, the district informed the community of the case and said it would be working with local public health to conduct contact tracing.
The letter does not say whether the case was a student or a faculty member.
'Any individuals found to be within parameters determined by public health will be contacted and next steps communicated,” the letter states.
