Ben Zihlman took first place in the target round and third in the spirit round at the State Mathematics Competition, held in Iowa City. Zihlman will travel to Kansas City to compete in the Regional Mathematics Championship on Friday, May 13. He is the first Mt. Pleasant student to qualify for the Regional Championship.
