Woman arrested after stabbing
Tracy Ann Felkins, 31, of Ottumwa has been arrested following an in-depth domestic assault investigation involving a stabbing.
The Fairfield Police Department arrested Felkins at 10:56 p.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson County Law Enforcement Center. She is charged with domestic assault causing serious injury, a class D felony punishable by up to five years in jail and $7,500 in fines, and violation of a no contact order,

Tracy Ann Felkins, 31, of Ottumwa has been arrested following an in-depth domestic assault investigation involving a stabbing.
The Fairfield Police Department arrested Felkins at 10:56 p.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson County Law Enforcement Center. She is charged with domestic assault causing serious injury, a class D felony punishable by up to five years in jail and $7,500 in fines, and violation of a no contact order, a simple misdemeanor punishable by up to 30 days in jail and $500 in fines.
According to the police report, the stabbing occurred early Thursday at 100 N. 16th St., Lot 12. Papers filed in the Jefferson County Clerk of Court?s Office indicate the victim sought treatment at the Jefferson County Hospital for injury to his left shoulder; he was then transported to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City by ambulance. The victim has since been released from the hospital, assistant attorney Pat McAvan said.
