Woman arrested following suspected grocery theft

Hy-Vee employees suspected a woman was stealing from the Mt. Pleasant store and contacted the Henry County Sheriff's Office.
Employees followed the woman into the parking lot and identified her for responding officers.
Mary Lou Zachmeyer, 36 of Mt. Pleasant was arrested and charged with theft in the fifth degree and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
