Woman gets probation for biting officer
DUBUQUE (AP) ? A 49-year-old Dubuque woman who bit a Dubuque police officer has been given two years of probation.
The Dubuque Telegraph Herald says Debra Curiel was sentenced on Friday. A 180-day jail sentence and $625 fine were suspended.
Police say Curiel bit Cpl. Brian Jobgen when he responded to Hillcrest Family Services on Nov. 20. Police say Curiel also assaulted two Hillcrest staffers.
