LOCKRIDGE - A woman rolled her pickup truck near Lockridge and had to be taken to the hospital Thursday.
Veronica Rose Cisneros, 18, of Fruitland, was traveling east on Highway 34 east of Wintergreen Boulevard in a 1994 Chevrolet truck at 2 p.m. Witnesses told the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office that Cisneros's vehicle was traveling in the left-hand lane when she suddenly turned right, going off onto the right-hand shoulder. She lost control of her vehicle, which skidded back onto the roadway where it rolled three times before coming to rest on its top.
Cisneros was taken by ambulance to the Henry County Health Center. She was wearing her seatbelt, and was able to get out of the vehicle with the assistance of another motorist. The crash report lists her injuries as 'suspected minor/non-incapacitating.” The vehicle was totaled.
Jefferson County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Lockridge Fire, Fairfield Fire and Rescue, Midwest Ambulance and Mike's Towing.
