Woman treated for minor injuries after rollover

A West Des Moines woman was treated for minor injuries after a single vehicle rollover accident on Highway 34 near mile marker 232 on Thursday, May 16.

Molly McPartland, 29, of West Des Moines, was traveling west on Highway 34, when she lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle entered the ditch where it rolled several times.

McPartland was transported to the Henry County Health Center by ambulance She was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.

The Henry County Sheriff's Office, Mt. Pleasant Fire Department, Mt. Pleasant Police Department and Iowa State Patrol responded to the accident.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
