Women’s Club to host haunted house party
This witch, web and jack-o-lantern guard a littany of treats that will be available Tuesday during the Fairfield Women's Club's 'Boo-ti-ful Boofet” presented by Cauldron Cafe. The event is from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the McElhinny House. The 'appalling” appetizers served that day will include Hocus-Pocus Moon Pie (tamale pie), Blood Soup (tomato bisque), Toxic Sludge (mac and cheese), Devilish Delights and more. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for kids. Costumes are encouraged. All money raised at the event goes into maintaining the historic McElhinny House.
