Keith Rhodes was getting his yard cleared of branches and fallen leaves Wednesday morning, commenting that it is a bit hard to do between windy days and rain, which was expected later in the day along with rapidly dropping temperatures. The burning of leaves, small twigs and yard waste is permitted during daylight hours on the days of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday in November.
