Young man’s cleanup effort was appreciated

I was looking out my kitchen window one morning, and I saw something I had never seen before – a young man was coming down the street with a garbage bag picking up trash.
He came down one side of the street and then came back on my side of the street picking up little pieces of paper, etc.
This 85-year-old really appreciated all his cleaning up Monroe Street.
I tried to holler “thank you,” but he couldn’t hear me.
