This week?s ?Friend on the Front Page? is Bryce Kelly, whom you may know from Sunnybrook.

Are you originally from Mt. Pleasant/Henry County? If not, what brought you here? No, I?m from Ft. Madison. I came here to work for the Mt. Pleasant News.

What is your favorite part of living here? I love the people of Mt. Pleasant. I love the family vibe you get when you live here.

What is your favorite local hangout? I love going and spending time with my aunt and uncle who also live here.

What do you like to do in your free time? I love to volunteer at my church, Harmony Bible Church. I also enjoy free writing and riding horses.

Is there an annual event in Mt. Pleasant/Henry County that you enjoy? One thing I really enjoy is here at Sunnybrook. We have an annual Easter Egg Hunt and this year I took my nephews and they had a blast.

Is there something Mt. Pleasant doesn?t have that you?d like to see? I would love it if we had a Chick-fil-A or a Fazoli?s.

What is your favorite spring time activity? I love riding my bike around the Ashford Park area. My cousin and I do that quite a bit.

What do you think is Mt. Pleasant/Henry County?s trademark? Old Threshers.

What?s one dish or drink that reminds you of Mt. Pleasant? I love pizza, but I?ve never tasted pizza the way it?s made at Costa?s. When I think about pizza now, that?s what I think of.

Tell us something interesting about you? I could ride a horse before I could walk. And I?ve competed in both state and national riding competitions.
