Fairfield 1st Fridays Art Walk is pleased to announce the youth art exhibit at the Fairfield Public Library was a success! We encourage everyone who did not have a chance to enjoy this exhibit on art walk night to stop by before Saturday, Jan. 14, to view it. Fairfield?s youth, grades kindergarten through 12th, were represented at this event and exhibited a large collection of whimsical, fun, and creative works.
Fairfield 1st Fridays Art Walk would like to thank all of the creative youth for sharing their talent at the Fairfield 1st Fridays Art Walk Youth Art exhibit. A special thanks goes to the Fairfield Public Library and their staff who graciously hosted the exhibit. We also appreciate the sincerity and hard work of Fairfield?s art teachers from the Fairfield school district, MSAE, and the Home School Association for collecting and organizing their youth?s work: David Kraemer, Deb Finney, Holly McDow, Alicia Carradus, Greg Thatcher, Greg Holland and Susan Chipman. Further, we are grateful to Heidi Grunwald and her fabulous FHS food and nutrition class for making such yummy snacks for the youth art reception. Our appreciation goes out to Mr. Walker of Walker Office Supplies for donating matt board to the schools. We would also like to thank all the galleries who had delightful exhibits during the art walk event.
Finally, we would like to thank all of you who attended the youth art event. Without your community support art walk would not be what it is.
