A. Dolores Bake

KEOTA - A. Dolores Baker, 89, of Keota, died Monday, March 17, 2008, in the Manor House Care Center in Sigourney following a brief illness.

      Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today in the Holy Trinity Parish - St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota with the Rev. Charles Fladung officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemeteries - Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in rural Harper. Memorials may be made to the Keokuk County Hospice, Keota Senior Center, or SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is handling the arrangements.

      Mrs. Baker was born June 30, 1918, in Clear Creek Township, Keokuk County, the daughter of Michael L. and Cecelia (Striegel) Hammes. She married John M. baker on Nov. 15, 1938 in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Clear Creek.
