A. Gwendolyn Gooden

      A. Gwendolyn Gooden, 83, of Milton, died at 4 a.m. today, Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.

      A funeral is set for 11 a.m. Friday at Milton Christian Church, with the Rev. Justin DeVries officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

      Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, where the family will be present from 6-8 p.m.

      Memorials to Milton Christian Church may be left at the funeral home or church or may be mailed to the family at 302 N. Iowa St., Milton 52570.

      Mrs. Gooden was born March 25, 1925, near Lebanon, the daughter of Craig W. and Chloe Strait Price. She married Estle Gooden Dec. 24, 1941. He died June 20, 1984.
