Abbott F. Mayer
Abbott F. Mayer, 83, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, at St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, with the Rev. Dr. Kay Slocum officiating. Inurnment will be at the Peace Lutheran Cemetery near Ryan. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. on Friday. Memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Foundation in Abbott's name.
