Abby Ann Simpkin
Abby Ann Simpkins, 79, Mapleleaf Healthcare Center, Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Rome, died at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2002, at the care center.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, at the Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Edward Newman of Lockridge Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Grant Cemetery at Rome. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. on Monday, April 1 at the funeral home with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
