Ada Edwards

      Ada Edwards, 98, of Oskaloosa and formerly of Fairfield, Iowa passed away Saturday, May 5, 2007 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.

      Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday afternoon, May 10, at Garland-Van Arkel-Langkamp Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with Reverend Dr. Richard Wallarab of Fairfield officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral chapel; the family will be present from 1:00 p.m. to service time on Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Oskaloosa Public Library.

      Ada Helena Edwards, daughter of Thomas H. and Anna Theresa Hjort Edwards, was born at the home of her parents in Beacon, Iowa, June 1, 1908.
