Agnes M. Matthes Johnson
KALONA-Agnes M. Matthes Johnson, 100, of Wellman, died Saturday, June 12, 2004, at Parkview Manor in Wellman, following a lengthy illness.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Burial will be in Memory Gardens in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnson was born on April 28, 1904, in Iowa City, to Frank and Mary (Masek) Fryauf. She married Glen Matthes and, later, married Art Johnson.
